Keeper by Kathi Appelt

And luckily, I was able to find a book trailer for Keeper which includes some of the illustrations from the book.

This is definitely a book that will appeal to my girls with mermaid magic and a ten year old girl as the main character, but boys you just might enjoy it too. Really good messages about love and family.
Until next time, my dreamers and adventurers!

The Grimm Conclusion by Adam Gidwitz

Adam Gidwitz's site can be found at http://www.adamgidwitz.com/ , and I was lucky enough to find a book trailer for this one!

Also, incase you haven't read the first two books, check out their trailers as well. The First book is a Tale Dark and Grimm (which follows Hansel and Gretel) and the second is In a Glass Grimmly (which follows Jack and Jill).

Among the Imposters and Among the Betrayed by Margaret Peterson Haddix

Yes, you read that right. This is a two-for-one kind of deal (two book reviews in one episode). These are the next two books in the Shadow Children series. If you haven't checked out Among the Hidden (the first in the series), definitely start there! My book review on Among the Hidden can be found here.

Amulet (Book One- The Stonekeeper) by Kazu Kibuishi

And of course, the book trailer just in case my review didn't get you running to the library to check out a copy.

Don't forget to comment and let me know what you're reading!
Until next time, my little adventurers,
Mrs. Shahriary
